Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC)
Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) is a novel engineering plastic derived from further chlorination modification of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). This product appears as white, odorless, non-toxic porous granules or powder, exhibiting exceptional properties including chemical corrosion resistance, thermal deformation resistance, solubility, aging resistance, and flame retardancy.CPVC primarily consists of halite (rock salt). Its manufacturing process is highly energy- and resource-efficient, consuming fewer non-renewable resources (e.g., petroleum, coal, and minerals) compared to conventional plastic products.
